Join us for a fun and colourful beginner’s workshop where you will be introduced to the wonderful art of paper folding.
We’ll explore several techniques, patterns and geometric forms and you'll be guided through the process of making three functional pieces using just a few simple folds.
You’ll leave with skills, knowledge and lots of new ideas of items to fold for yourself at home.
A choice of pre-cut high quality, coloured paper will be provided as well as all the tools and materials you will need.
No experience necessary and all ages welcome (under 14s must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class).
Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) will be provided during the break.

Kate Colin is a Glasgow-based award winning paper folding artist who has been teaching for over ten years. She has worked with the Barbican, West Dean College and V&A Dundee as well as brands including Burberry, Prada and Toast. Her book 'Paper Folding: Learn in a Weekend' was published by Thames & Hudson in October 2024.
