The Community.

Being a member at HOT will mean different things for different people. You might be looking for a place to work that isn’t your house, or you might want to attend a course or event. Perhaps you’re mostly interested in becoming member to connect with like minded people! Or maybe you just need a place to work very occasionally. Do what works for you with no strings attached.

Take a look around…

We are spread across 2 floors at no. 23: On the ground floor there are 3 distinct work-spaces you can choose to work from: The Grand Hall, for quiet and productive work, The School for a more informal, flexible space (this doubles up as a cafe and event space) and The Garden Room which is where our dedicated coworkers reside, overlooking the park. Our artist studios are on the 1st floor, along with Genuine Quirk’s pottery studio.

Why we do it.

The past few years have reshaped how we work. We know many people have struggled to find a workspace that truly supports their needs. Whether it’s the isolation of working from home or the overwhelming nature of large, corporate offices, the need for a different kind of space has never been clearer.

We are a social enterprise, and our mission is simple: to create a community that prioritises connection, inclusivity, and well-being. We want your workspace to feel like a home from home—it should be a place where you can focus, collaborate, and grow, surrounded by a supportive group of people.

With around 20-30 members, our space is designed to foster genuine connections, where you’ll feel at ease and get to know the people around you. There will be scheduled time for quiet hours, phone-free zones, and low-stimulation lighting and sound hours for those who need it.

In the art school we will be hosting workshops and courses, which offer creative learning opportunities for people from all walks of life, including young people in care, those with learning difficulties, and neurodiverse individuals. These programs are a core part of our mission, helping to build a space where creativity, personal growth, and community thrive.

As a not-for-profit, every decision we make is driven by our commitment to serving the community. Having run coworking spaces for over 14 years, we’ve seen the difference that the right space, and a supportive environment can make in people’s lives. We're excited to get back to doing what we do, and we can’t wait to meet you all!

Location.

We are based in an old listed town house in Park Circus in Glasgow, at the top of Kelvingrove Park. I’ve always dreamed of working or living around here and when this place came up I couldn’t resist coming to visit. I fell in love with the space, but so did many other people. When the landlord reviewed our plans for the space he chose us to take up residence at No. 23 and we couldn’t believe our luck. Park Circus is a 5-10 minute walk from Kelvinbridge Underground Station. We are a 5 minute walk from Woodlands Road and Great Western Road both of which are very well connected by bus. We are a 10 minute taxi journey from Central Glasgow. We are 2 minutes from the beautiful Kelvingrove Park - there are spaces to leave your bike at HOT on the basement level outside.
