SORTED: A Dispute Resolution Service available exclusively to Members of the House of Toad Community in Scotland.

Sorted is an affordable way to resolve disputes and maintain relationships through the Mediation Process.

Unfortunately conflicts, disputes and disagreements are part of our working and social lives.

It is beneficial to try and resolve these issues in a manner which is acceptable to all parties, affordable, timely and keeps stress levels down.

Mediation is a tried and tested process which addresses these aims. It is a genuine alternative to the adversarial court process.

It is a mutual process meaning that all participants must agree to take part.

‘Sorted’ is suitable for the following non exclusive types of dispute;

● community ● family ● contractual ● Neighbour ● Employment

Through ‘Sorted’, House of Toad offers the members of the community an affordable way to resolve any disputes they may have.

Preliminary discussions (which do not involve the facts of the case) and Intake Sessions are free of charge.

Intake sessions are held with each member individually and have a dual purpose; to explain the process more fully; for the Mediator to assess if the case is suitable for Mediation.

If, after intake, the Mediation proceeds, typically all further meetings will be in the presence of the Mediator and both members.

The hourly rate for all joint meetings is £50 split equally between the members. The number of meetings depends on the nature of the case.

If agreement is reached and the members wish a written Summary the charge will be £50 split equally between the members.

All Mediations will take place at House of Toad.
